A stunning example of a tsunami of support is being shown for 4 yr old SuperGav, better known as Gavin Glynn, when he is not superheroing. His nickname comes from his rapid recovery from some very invasive treatment (think embedded hot plates and wires) in Switzerland for the cancer that threatens his young life. He was “out of the bed” sooner than most patients in similar circumstances. Now he needs something even bigger, only available in the U.S., and this is where the support kicks in…$400,000 is needed. You can find out about the amazing (sometimes crazy) things people are doing to get the bobs in the bank: http://www.teamgavinglynn.ie. Every little gesture helps: on Sunday in glorious sunshine, Raheny GAA were at the Dublin Kite Festival on Dollier strand, collecting for SuperGav. Fair play to all!
